Please read this document before using the website. By using or accessing the website and/or by placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
We make every effort to ensure that the product names, descriptions, colours, sizes and photographs used on product listings are accurate. Any errors are wholly unintentional.
We reserve the right to amend and update product information at any time and without prior notice.
You will be charged the amount shown on the product listing and checkout page. If we have made an error and underpriced an item, we reserve the right not to continue the sale. We will contact you with the correct price and you can decide whether to proceed.
There may be rare occasions when the delivered product bears a different price than you paid at checkout. This may be due to previous promotions or old labeling and the price displayed on your order is correct. We reserve the right to alter prices and offer promotions without prior notice.
Ordering from YouBoat Marine
To order on YouBoatMarine.com:
- Find the item.
- If applicable, choose the size/colour using the drop-down box.
- Click the red ‘Add to Cart’ button.
- Edit or remove items from the cart at any time – click the icon top right.
- When ready, click the red ‘Go to Checkout’ button.
- Select the delivery type and confirm your details.
- Payment is made via a secure payment gateway provider.
- When the payment is successful, you will receive an order confirmation.
When you place an order, your details are retained for processing purposes only unless you choose to create an account.
If you create an account, your details will be retained for future orders, and you will be able to view your order history.
Any customer joining the Loyalty Scheme will have to create an account.
We accept online payment by Mastercard, Maestro and Visa and by bank transfer. We do not take payment over the phone for amounts over £100 due to the risk of fraud.
All online credit and debit card payments are handled by an external payment provider. At checkout you will be automatically transferred to the secure payment gateway, and once the transaction is complete, returned to the YouBoat website.
Goods will be shipped or made ready for collection once we have received payment. If your payment fails for any reason, your order will not be progressed and shipped.
All prices include VAT and other taxes where applicable. We can provide VAT invoices for trade customers if required – email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
YouBoat Loyalty Discount
All members of our Loyalty Scheme are eligible for up to 10% discount off a range of products. To see the discounted prices, log into your account. Once logged-in, the prices you see will include any Loyalty Scheme discount. No additional discount is added at checkout.
Gift vouchers and discount codes can be added at the checkout stage prior to payment.
The cost of delivery depends on the destination and the weight and nature of the items – charges are set by courier companies. Delivery cost is shown on the delivery page and at checkout before payment.
We aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days of receipt, and our standard delivery is a 3-5 day service. We send parcels out Monday to Friday (Monday-Thursday for next day). Orders received on a weekend or bank holiday will be processed the next working day.
Orders with multiple items may be split into more than one shipment. You will not be charged extra.
If some of the items you order are not in stock, we will contact you to discuss delivery options, including split shipments.

We ship everything by tracked courier service and all deliveries must be signed-for. You will be sent the tracking number by email and can track the parcel through the courier’s website or by putting the number into the ‘Track Order’ page on YouBoatMarine.com.
Orders for next working day delivery (where available) must be placed before 12 noon the preceding day Monday to Thursday only.
Some items have limited shipping options due to their hazardous nature, consistency or weight.
Pyrotechnics (flares) are only available for in-store collection.
Hazardous products, such as life rafts and lifejackets with CO2 cylinders, can only be shipped by road.
We do not offer shipping outside the UK as standard, but we can obtain a quotation if required - contact us at email@example.com Please note that additional charges such as customs duty and clearance costs may be applied in the destination country.
Collect from Store
You can choose to collect your order from any YouBoat location at no charge. This is not a same-day service and you will be notified by email or phone when your order is ready for collection.
All deliveries must be signed for, and you should ensure that someone is available to receive the parcel.
If an order is returned to us because the courier was unable to deliver after 2-3 attempts due to nobody being at the address, you will not be refunded your postage costs. We will contact you to arrange a new delivery.
You can cancel an order online up to the point of payment.
You have the right to cancel an order providing that you notify us in writing no later than 30 days after the day on which you receive the order.
You have no right to cancel special orders, lengths of rope, wire or chain cut to length, splicing services and customized products.
YouBoat has the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch if we have insufficient stock and cannot provide a suitable alternative, if we are unable to obtain payment, if we can’t deliver to your area, or if there is a fault in the published product description or price.
We are happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is returned to us within 30 days in a fully resalable condition. Resaleable means new and unused condition in the original packaging with YouBoat or Nick Cox labelling attached.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange on the item for products returned that are not in a saleable condition. There is no refund or exchange on special orders, lengths of rope, wire or chain cut to length, splicing services and customized products unless the product is faulty.
We will refund your return postage only when a product is faulty, incorrect or damaged, not when a product is simply unwanted.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
For faulty or damaged products, please notify us no later than 30 days after the day on which you receive the order, and we will arrange return of the goods and a refund or replacement.
If you are asked to sign for a delivery that appears to be damaged, please notify the courier of any defects when the delivery is signed for, and report to us within 48 hours.
Faulty items that are reported outside of our 30-day returns window but within 6 months of purchase will need to be returned to us for inspection by the manufacturer. Returns are at your cost.
Any goods sold by us have the benefit of the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms & conditions. Defective goods returned to us within the manufacturer’s warranty period will be repaired or replaced at the sole discretion of the manufacturer.
We will refund you the price of the item or exchange the product once it is received and assessed by us. A refund of the return delivery charge you pay will be made in the case of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.
Paint tins that are dented but not leaking are not deemed to be faulty and are not subject to refund.

Liability, Waiver & Third Party Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your legal rights as a consumer.
We are only responsible for losses that are a natural, foreseeable consequence of our breach of these Terms & Conditions. We are not liable if we are prevented or delayed from complying with our obligations by events beyond our reasonable control, or by action by you or anyone acting for you.
We are not liable for damage to products we have supplied which is caused by your failure to follow advice provided in instructions or product manuals.
We may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice to comply with the law or to meet our changing business requirements. Updates will be posted on the website youboatmarine.com
You may not assign or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations to any third party unless we agree in writing. We may assign, transfer or sub-contract any of our rights or obligations to any third party at our discretion.
No relaxation or delay by us in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms & Conditions shall operate as a waiver of that right or remedy or shall affect our ability to subsequently exercise that right or remedy. Any waiver must be agreed by us in writing.
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
